So, the design team contest at ScrapLove is going really well!  We are getting new people signing up every day!  I have never really open my site up like this, so I wasn't sure how things would go... but so far... so good!

hahaha I am such a dork... I am so into this new freestlye and I can't stop talking about it... eveywhere... two peas, scraplove, willow traders.... I am so in love with it... For the first time in a while I can't scrap enough!  hahah I printed pics out and I am just staring.... I love this!  Too much fun!

So You Think You Can SCRAP – Design Team Contest

 

ScrapLove is starting their first ever design team and wants to invite you to participate in our “So You Think You Can SCRAP” design team contest! Beginning Sunday, October 8, 2006, participants will compete in 8 weeks of challenges to become part of ScrapLove’s first design team. Each week, a new challenge will be posted and contestants will have approximately 5-6 days to complete each challenge. Challenges could be individual or partner challenges! At the end of each challenge week, voting will be open to all the contestants and one or more players will be voted out of the competition*. When the competition gets down to the last few contestants, ScrapLove’s owner and Design Team Coordinator will determine the final winners and will announce the new Design Team on Sunday, December 10, 2006. *The number of contestants voted out each week will depend on how many participants sign up to play. All assignments must be new and created specifically for this contest. All layouts/projects created for ScrapLove may not be posted in any other online galleries for a period of 30 days after posting on ScrapLove. Rules and procedures are subject to change without notice at owners’ discretion. To enter, you must be a registered member of ScrapLove.com, sign up in the official sign-up thread, and post one layout in the gallery. Deadline to register is Saturday, October 7, 2006, 9:00pm CST. If you are selected to be on the ScrapLove Design Team, your responsibilities will include:

1. 3 month commitment to ScrapLove, with an option to extend to an Additional 3-6 months if both parties are in agreement
2. Create 3-4 layouts/projects per month with supplied product
3. Actively participate in ScrapLove’s message board discussions and challenges
4. Actively praise layouts/projects in ScrapLove’s gallery
5. Participate in online crops
6. Meet deadlines as set by owner or design team coordinator

ScrapLove is about to have a design team!  I am so excited I could just piddle!  Monica Coffman is going to head it up, and it is going to be totally awesome and great!  That is a little treat for those of you who check out Croptastic!  You heard it here first people!

So, the hardest part of owning the store is deciding what to buy.... I sit there and I pour over catalogs trying to pick the perfect stuff, and I am constantly trying to know how many of certain things my girls will need... I never know!  It really is so hard....Sometimes I buy stuff and it sells out in like fifteen minutes... sometimes I buy stuff and no one ever buys it!  How am I ever going to find the perfect balance?  hehe I guess I could have bigger worries in life than how much time I have to spend looking at scrapbook catalogs, huh??  So far I am having a really good time...

Can I just say CUTE CUTE CUTE!  The new Sweetwater stuff in the store is adorable!  I am so in love!  We also got some very adorable fancy pants stuff in!  These rub-ons are awesome!

Okay, Mr. Tim Holtz knew what he was talking about when he said these paint dabbers are the best thing to come out of CHA!  I am having so much fun with mine!  They totally ROCK!  I can't stop dabbing paint everywhere!  hehe if I had a giant one I would paint my dresser!  Love Love Love LOVE them!  I want them in every color! 

hmmm... so I can't decide with these new Cherry Arte Papers... I mean some of them are kinda cool... but will other people like them?  I mean, there is this sheet of paper and I think it is pretty cool and has a fun design... but HOW would I scrap with it?

And then there is this one: hmmm... kinda looks like portozoans to me.... that one isn't really working for me... ya know?
